NEW! AVCV Air Vent Control Valve – Winter Radiator Control System for Efficient Steam Flow & Energy Savings – 2.5″ x 1.5″

Original price was: $19.99.Current price is: $14.99.

NEW! AVCV Air Vent Control Valve – Winter Radiator Control System!

Regulates Steam Flow: The AVCV valve controls air vents in steam heating system radiators or risers. It opens and closes vents, turning radiators on/off. Ideal for bleeding valves in hot water or hydronic systems. Simplify your heating control with this versatile tool.

Easy Operation: Turn off your radiator temporarily or permanently. Replace valves quickly when needed; no need to shut off the boiler or radiator anymore. This valve offers convenience for everyday heating management. No hassle, just efficient control.

Energy Efficiency: Manage steam release effectively to save energy. Continuous steam release from malfunctioning air valves/vents increases energy consumption. It strains burners or boilers, making them work harder. Save energy by managing steam release effectively. Perfect for reducing unnecessary energy waste during winter.

NEW! AVCV Air Vent Control Valve – Winter Radiator Control System!

The AVCV regulates air venting on the radiator steam heating systems, and risers can be controlled by opening and closing air vents or air valves, effectively allowing control over the steam heating process.

The AVCV also works on bleeding valves for hot water or hydronic systems.

• It’s now EASY to control the heat in any space by using the AVCV to turn on/off the radiator or to do a quick valve replacement.

• When the air vents in a steam radiator system are constantly releasing

steam, consuming more energy, putting strain on the burner or boiler, making it work harder to maintain the desired temperature.

Use the AVCV.

• Eliminate radiator knocking noise by using the AVCV. When shutting off the main radiator gate valve, use the AVCV to avoid trapping condensation in the system, thereby preventing

knocking or water hammering.

More info:

Bleed air out of the system in a controlled manner:

  • Air can be easily bled quickly from a radiator or heating riser using the AVCV handle in the open position “without the air vent”; the same method applies to hot water hydronic systems.
  • Suppose the air vents are producing noise or blowing steam continuously. In that case, there is no need to endure the persistent sound of steam escaping from a malfunctioning air vent or valve, which can cause excessive humidity in your unit. Having the AVCV, all you need to do is close the AVCV to restore peace.

The Air Vent Control Valve (AVCV) for hydronic heating systems:

  • The AVCV will allow the “Coin/Key Bleeder” on hydronic heating system convectors to open and close, eliminating the need to burn your fingers while bleeding your unit.
  • When replacing the Coin/Key Bleeder air vents, there is no need to shut off the boiler or drain all the water from your hot water radiator. Instead, using the AVCV allows for easy replacement. Just shut off the AVCV, and the valve can now be easily replaced.
  • The AVCV will also protect the expensive air vents/valves and radiators from deterioration caused by condensation, mineral deposits, and rust.
  • Sometimes, radiator shutoff valves are closed permanently for any reason, and then the rubber washer inside the gate shutoff valve fails, allowing a small amount of steam into the radiator. When the steam condenses, the water is unable to return and accumulates, causing the radiator to leak, knock, and make noise. By having the AVCV installed, this problem can be avoided by simply keeping the main gate valve open and using the air vent control valve to permanently or temporarily shut off the radiator.
